i’m giselde, a south african designer and the person behind kring. for the past 12 years, i’ve worked in branding and design, shaping identities, visual systems and stories for others. kring is a more personal extension of my creative practice, rooted in making, playing and exploring.

my work explores circular form, drawing from the symbols and systems found throughout nature, culture and the cosmos. working across ink, collage and clay, i’m interested in how simple forms shift through material, gesture, repetition and rhythm.

kring is a space for this exploration to unfold slowly. each release follows a particular idea, with every piece forming part of an evolving body of work.
